Xfinity Strikes AGAIN

Customer friendly? I don’t think so.

I had nothing to do but be on the phone with them for over two hours trying to lasso our new viewing package, or bundle. It felt like 10 years.

All we were trying to do is keep our bill down, and sure, they’ll help…they’ll help by taking FOUR of the channels I had watched daily away.Oh yeah, big budget break, right?

The rub of”this is Xfinity , the home of customer service,”didn’t OFFER me customer service by telling me I was losing four channels immediately.I would love for them to come running with how friendly we are and I will certainly offer them some opinions of their service.

Old but New

I saw a new physician today with Jim. We have shopped around for a physician that we were both comfortable with. When I talked with him, we talked about when I am feeling good. I said now that I am teaching again, helping the kids makes me feel happy.

It was a lousy fall, not working. I missed the kids.I missed being able to make a difference in their lives.

So now I have anchored into two other schools and things are good.

It’s good to be wanted.

25

I had to put up this shot of my girls, because they both have been my rock.

Twenty-five years ago, after a course of chemo and radiation , I had a total hysterectomy, wiping cancer out, for the most part, until I had two other bouts in my mid-to late thirties.

If you are a frequent reader of this blog, you know I usually list all my people I am thankful for, who helped me through this first and fiercest cancer battle. They pretty much know who they are.

I’ll just leave this with one statement.

Thank God.

End of February blues

Here are some past pictures of my mother-in-law with Jim and Kasia and Zush. Currently my 100 year old mother-in-law is in the hospital for believe. observation. It’s really sad, as all she wants is to be in her home.

So we carry on, one foot in front of the other. Other friends of ours are going through things too. My prayers are being worked overtime for everyone.

I do believe groundhog Phil was right, based on the amount of robins I have seen. Maybe springtime sunshine will pick us all up.

End of February blues

Here’s a shot of Jim’s mom on our deck last summer. She is now 100 years old and currently in the hospital for observation. It’s sad ,because all she wants is to be home.

We have other neighbors going through things, too. Needless to say, my prayers are going on overtime.

Based on the numbers I’ve seen, spring should be around the corner. Here’s hoping some springtime sunshine will pick up a lot of spirits.

My Man,Lieutenant Columbo

Last night I caught one of my favorite episodes of Columbo.

It was “Now you see him.” The guest star -villian was Jack Cassidy. He was married to singer Shirley Jones, his second wife, and teeny-bopper idol David Cassidy was his son.

Cassidy played a magician called the great Santini, who, in actuality, was a former Nazi Sargent in the Second World War.He kills the club owner who had a blackmail letter proving this. It goes without saying, Peter Falk solves the case.

If you ever want a good two hour mystery, check this out next time you see it on television.

Winter Storm Petra

Kasia and I went out for our morning’s walk. I have Accu-Weather app on the phone,so it gives you a pretty blouse time as to when the precipitation is due.

After a hard morning’s walk, my girl was beat.

You can actually see 1/2 ice and 1/2 snow on Kasias’s fur. We both like candidates for Head and Shoulders

Here’s hoping tomorrow is awesome bit better.

Welcome Back, I think

Trying to get all my photos lined up only to have the web host say there is no room has been quite frustrating.

The sky that has been pretty decent is promising to turn into something different tomorrow, resulting in something looking like this:

So I figured out what better time to try to get some readers back. I actually lost one of my strongest supporters. Jeanne passed away last week at either 92 or 94-I can never remember which.

So for those of you who have stuck with me, thanks. I appreciate it!
